Take a bite out of Philly with a 75 minute circuit inside the world-famous Reading Terminal Market during the annual Taste of Philly Food Tour. Sample some of Philadelphia's most famous food including cheesesteaks, hoagies, pretzels and more while also learning the history behind their origins. Along with the vibrancy of the Market place, guests will learn the story behind the Breyer�s Ice Cream logo, where Philadelphia Brand cream cheese really comes from, and how Hershey kisses were conceived among other fun food facts.
The tour is often led by celebrated food writer Carolyn Wyman who also is the creator behind the event itself. Wyman is the author of several books and has been a guest on the Jay Leno and Rosie O�Donnell Show. In addition to learning about Philadelphia�s food traditions, guests will receive an exclusive insider guide to some of the best fine dining restaurants in Philadelphia.
