Indulge in international flavors during the 17th annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, sponsored by Chase, taking place September 28-November 12, 2012. Guests can pick up their Marketplace Discovery Passport at the Festival Center and then choose from a variety of activities to enjoy. But don’t forget to make reservations (it’s super easy with online booking) for the festival’s exclusive events. “Party for the Senses” ($60 a ticket), hosted by Vanity Fair, will provide musical performances and incredible Cirque du Soleil acts while visitors sample internationally inspired cuisine. During the Disney “3D Dessert Discoveries”, guests can enjoy sweets and cordials before being ushered to screen the V.I.P viewing of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth film.
The “Culinary Demonstrations” event ($15) will bring together celebrated chefs, beverage professionals, and self-titled foodies looking to learn how to create one-of-a-kind meals during a 45-minute, guided tutorial, while the “Mixology Seminars” ($15) will teach guests the fine art of handcrafted spirits—a lesson which allow students to partake in the lesson's end reward. Finally, the “Beverage Seminars” will feature a winery and beverage expert that will offer visitors tips and techniques on tasting, the wine industry, and more. Both indoors and outdoors, activities, music, and food will abound. The Eat to Beat Concert series will be performing nightly, showcasing the musical talents of some of the entertainment world’s most popular singers.
In addition, Chase cardholders will be able to take advantage of exclusive access to the Chase Lounge during the festival, where complimentary beverages and lounge space will be provided. Cardholders will also earn points when using their card inside the Walt Disney park, which can be redeemed toward nearly everything Disney. The 46 day festival will let diners cruise through six continents and visit over 25 marketplaces featuring cuisine from Belgium to Hawaii.
