For many of us, online shopping isn’t our go-to choice for retail therapy—mostly because when we buy something, we want to be able to wear it immediately. Now more and more stores are offering same-day delivery to their guests, including Barneys New York, which just announced this new service in October.
Online consumers in New York can purchase an item midday and have it delivered by the evening. Huzzah! Available Monday through Saturday, the service is currently open to residents living in the Manhattan area and select Brooklyn residences.
Need that Valentino dress for an impromptu dinner with the boss? Order it before noon and get it between 3 and 6 p.m. on your doorstep. On Saturdays, you’ll need to place the order before 10 a.m., but it will still be guaranteed to be in your hands by 6 p.m. All purchases come with a tracking number and if the item needs to be returned, the buyer can contact Barneys New York Customer Service to schedule a courier to pick-up the package. Complimentary shipping labels are also available.
