Everyone hates traffic. Nothing gets under our skin like sitting bumper to bumper with all the other cars on the road, so anytime there’s another transportation option we’re almost always willing to take it. Enter JetGet. Offering a new way to travel, this New York-based service offers flights from Teterboro and Westchester Airport to East Hampton, West Hampton, and Montauk starting Memorial Day weekend. This means more time spent on the beach and less time stuck in traffic.
"We desire to be the change the aviation industry needs by providing efficient, accessible, and luxurious travel experiences. In a static industry with few significant changes over the past 60 years, it takes a team ahead of the game to change the status quo," Samuel Joseph, CEO of JetGet, said in a press release.
And it seems like they really are trying to shake up the scene. Starting at only $499 a seat (with no added membership fees), well-heeled New Yorkers can access an executive aircraft for summer visits to the Hamptons. Guests will receive the best services including concierge assistance, free drinks, private airport terminals and, most importantly, no security lines. For frequent fliers, unlimited weekend flights can be purchased for only $3,000 a month, per traveler.
As Memorial Day is their opening weekend they have yet to finalize their complete list of destinations, but they will be adding new airport locations soon. They will also extend their stops to include event-based experiences for tournaments like the US Open and festivals like Burning Man.
