Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts and members of Le Club des Chefs des Chefs (C.C.C.) visited New York City on Saturday, July 27 to serve the less fortunate people of the city dishes fit for a king. Twenty personal chefs of renowned dignitaries and political leaders of the world partnered with Chef Serge Devesa, the executive chef of InterContinental New York Barclay and City Harvest to serve more than 200 citizens of the city; meals worthy of special culinary recognition.
The recipes were the same as foods the acclaimed chefs prepare for their prestigious, VIP employers. Featured at the luncheon were ten dishes created by the personal chefs of the President of the United States, the queen of England, the queen of Denmark, the chancellor of Germany, the president of India, the prime minister of Canada, and the prince of Monaco among others.
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is featuring these entrees at participating restaurants in the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica, and Argentina during the week of July 29. The meals are part of the hotelier’s ‘Fit for Royalty’ special menu promotion.
The 20 visiting Chefs of World Leaders in attendance included:
