With World Cup fever permeating all corners of the globe, Brioni's unveiling of a Milanese flagship location may not have been on many guys' immediate radars, but the implications of the large store's opening is one that any fashion-forward man should be able to get excited about.
In addition to the around 3,937-square-foot flagship opening, Brioni is introducing the Brioni Miror digital sizing tool that will "help revolutionize the bespoke process." With Brioni Miror, visitors will have access to virtual wardrobes where they'll actually be able to check themselves out in any of the company's garments, helping lead to better purchases. Though men in Milan might not need the help, it's easy to see how less fashion-forward fellas could use the service (but the real trick comes in actually getting them to use it).
Additionally, going back to the notion of Brioni's international availability, customers across the globe should start to see boutique stores pop up beginning in 2015. I, for one, can't wait to see Brioni rank in popularity alongside the likes of Gucci or Prada; but from their current lineup, it's hard to imagine the brand won't completely take off wherever their products are sold.
It might not have the international popularity of the 2014 World Cup going on in Brazil, but this news out of Milan should be exciting for a large number of style-minded men.
