It was only a matter of time before Aston Martin jumped on the bandwagon of branded residential towers. Porsche, Mercedes Pininfarina (Ferrari) have all debuted real estate properties in the past few years. Now, Aston Martin will join the luxury carmakers by opening its own high-rise in Miami in partnership with G and G Business Developments and Revuelta Architecture.
Located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way on the Miami River, the tower is one of the city’s last remaining waterfront developments. The property, dubbed, Aston Martin Residences, will feature 390 high-end condos, a two-story fitness center, spa, 55th-floor infinity pool, micro-cinema, children’s room and an art gallery. Aston Martin chief creative officer and design head Marek Reichman has been tasked with designing the public spaces. The common areas will boast the brand’s signature items such as polished wood, trademark colors and stitching styles.
The apartments will range in size from one- to four-bedroom residences and the higher end units will include seven penthouses as well as a duplex penthouse. Inside condos, custom embellishments can be designed to fit an owner’s style such as a hood ornament made of lacquered beetle wings. “The materials we use are very exotic—we are living in an exotic world, even compared to a lot of luxury apartments,” Reichman told Architectural Digest. “And you sometimes wouldn’t necessarily think about those materials in your home, but actually, they’re very applicable.”
The tower is projected to be completed in 2021, with its apartments hitting the market in March of next year.
