When it comes to proposing to your significant other, some men will keep it simple and intimate, while others want to pull out all the stops to show their love how much they mean to them. If you’re part of the latter group, World Of Diamonds and Cé La Vi have put together the most lavish way to pop the question. The companies are collaborating on a romantic dining experience for the buyer of the rare 2.08-carat Fancy Vivid Blue Jane Seymour diamond ring (US size 7).
The $2 million, eight-hour experience takes place in Singapore for two guests and includes a 45-minute scenic helicopter ride over the city, a chauffeured Rolls-Royce drive and a luxury private cruise. In the evening, the couple will be transported to the 57th floor of Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Hotel for an 18-course dinner. Decorated with 10,000 roses and offering a 360-degree view of the city, the restaurant will also feature a live band to set the mood.
The Modern Asian degustation menu will include Almas Caviar, Gewürztraminer-poached foie gras and veal liver, Jamón Ibérico, Bresse poulet consommé, lamb sweetbread and fresh Belon Oyster with Champagne foam. To eat their food, the pair will receive diamond-studded chopsticks engraved with their names on them. The dishes will be accompanied by 44 and 55-year-old vintage wines such as a 1988 Salon ‘S’ Champagne, 2008 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, and a 1961 Chateau Haut-Brion. The complete dinner will take place on custom-made armchairs fabricated by The Plush that the lovers will get to take home.
At midnight, you’ll receive the ring to pop the big question alongside Louis XIII de Rémy Martin cognac. An extravagant fireworks show will follow the big moment. If you’re considering purchasing the ring however, you’ll have to pass World of Diamonds Group and Ce’ La Vi’s intial selection process.
