“Dubai may be home to the world’s most outrageous skyline but Dubai’s desert dunes and historical creek are where you’ll find its soul,” writes filmmaker Rob Whitworth when discussing his three-month exploration in the UAE city. With help from Dubai film, Whitworth created a three-minute video entitled Dubai Flow Motion, which captures the sights and sounds of the destination through hyperlapse and infinite-zoom techniques.
Dubai is intriguing; it’s a place where its magnificent buildings are just as flashy as its fashionista locals, and is a region where deeply spiritual people still practice ancient traditions. Whitworth beautifully captures the city and all its splendor from its scenic landscapes to its modern (and ever-changing) metropolis and thrilling experiences (like what is found at the 2:39 mark). The city also holds one of two seven-star hotels in the world, which is just about reason enough to pique your interest in visiting Dubai. With plenty of grand projects in the works, the UAE destination should be on your travel bucket list.
