Featuring a five-night excursion to the Canadian Rockies filled with stops in Niagara Falls, Toronto and Vancouver, Uncommon Journeys has unveiled their exclusive, one-time only 13-day journey on the classic passenger train, the Canadian. Taking place from May 7-19, 2015, guests will travel by locomotive to experience the best of Canada with stays at deluxe hotels along the way.
Starting in Niagara Falls, the restored art-deco style train will stay overnight in the beautiful city before heading to Toronto. Following a day of sight-seeing, passengers will spend the night at the four-star Westin Harbour Castle.
During the three-night journey west to Jasper in the Canadian Rockies, guests will sleep onboard the train and will get to experience the round-end Bullet Lounge, the Park Car with its upper level vista-dome and Mural Lounge which offers beverages and cocktails. While in Jasper, travelers will tour the Rockies and the Columbia Icefields Parkway from Jasper to Banff and will ride the famed snocoach atop Athabasca Glacier.
When passengers reach Banff, they will unload for a four-night stay that includes brunch at the Chateau Lake Louise, visits to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, as well as the famed Banff Hot Springs. Closing out the trip is one last look at the Rockies from the vista-dome cars and an overnight stay at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver.
Rates begin at $4,995 per person for the 13-day Canadian Panorama trip which includes sightseeing, a tour manager, dining and transfers.
