As a symbol of both Hollywood's past and future, the Pantages Theatre sits on Hollywood Boulevard as one of the greatest landmarks of the city. Today it remains one of Los Angeles' leading homes of theater and is frequently used for TV shows, music videos and movies. Live vaudeville acts entertain guests in between acts and for 10 years, it was home to the Academy Awards presentations before they moved to the Dolby Theatre.
