The Dolby Theater, previously known as the Kodak Theatre, is a 3,332-seat live-performance auditorium that's found within the Hollywood and Highland shopping mall. Oh yeah, you may also recognize it as the permanent home of the Academy Awards. Designed by David Rockwell with the Oscar ceremonies specifically in mind, the stage is one of the biggest in the United States. Aside from the awards, a wide range of shows are put on at the Dolby Theater, including Prince, Elvis Costello, Barry Manilow, Stevie Wonder, and various Broadway productions.
