The Los Angeles Philharmonic has unveiled an exciting lineup for the 2025 Hollywood Bowl summer season, featuring a mix of classical, jazz, pop, rock, and Broadway performances at the iconic outdoor venue from June through September.
Gustavo Dudamel’s Farewell Season Highlights
LA Phil Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel returns for his penultimate Hollywood Bowl season, conducting a series of standout performances. Notable programs include:
Ellington & Ravel – A fusion of French Impressionism and Harlem jazz with pianist Seong-Jin Cho (August 5).Mahler’s First Symphony – Featuring violinist Vilde Frang (August 7).Dudamel & Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra – A grand return to Los Angeles after seven years, featuring Yuja Wang performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 (August 12).Los Aguilar with Dudamel – A celebration of Mexican music starring Pepe Aguilar and his family (August 15–16).

Hollywood Bowl Musical & Opening Night
The annual Hollywood Bowl musical returns with Cynthia Erivo starring as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar (August 1–3). The season kicks off with Hugh Jackman performing selections from The Greatest Showman and The Music Man, accompanied by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and YOLA musicians (June 7).

Blue Note Jazz Festival
Presented in collaboration with the LA Phil’s new partner, Blue Note, the newly minted Blue Note Jazz Festival (formerly Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival) is a music festival in every sense of the word.
