The award-winning Spa at Los Angeles’ oceanfront Terranea Resort has launched The Bungalows at Terranea experience, attracting travelers looking to escape their busy lives. Recently, the resort has launched three-, five- and seven-night spa and wellness specials at their new accommodations. The bungalows promote rejuvenation with the help of provided fitness gear like yoga mats, foam rollers, exercise bands and additional health-inspired amenities.
The Wellness Retreat at the Bungalows package ranges from a three-night journey starting at $3,969, to five nights at $6,119, and seven nights at $7,729. For added convenience, guests can choose to tailor the package to fit their individual needs and preferences. This option allows for either a fitness-centered getaway, or more of a relaxed experience. The friendly concierge is available 24 hours to assist with scheduling spa appointments, arranging private guided kayak excursions, golf sessions, dinner reservations and any other needs that should arise.
Included in each stay are a variety of well-being offerings like a personal fitness consultation and evaluation, therapeutic spa treatments, soothing daily spa rituals and meditation. Providing recommendations on treatments and fitness classes, spa consultants and personal trainers help guests achieve individual goals. For those seeking a more active package, Terranea’s Pointe Discovery invites guests to explore the surrounding areas through coastal preserve hikes, kayaking, paddle boarding and more.
Bungalow guests also benefit from special pricing on additional spa treatments as well as complimentary access to the spa pool and amenities including the steam room, whirlpools, dry sauna, indoor/outdoor relaxation lounges and fireplaces. Each night guests will receive freshly brewed tea for a special turndown service meant to encourage a sound and soothing night’s rest. The four-star hotel also provides a complimentary breakfast and lunch from the Spa Café to further promote a healthy stay with dishes like yogurt and granola parfaits, fresh fruit, specialty frittatas, salads, wraps, teas, and coffees.
The Bungalows at Terranea are overseen by the resort’s newly appointed spa director Blake Feeney whose more than 20 years of expertise in the spa industry includes his work at the SpaClub at The Venetian Las Vegas.
“Many of our guests seek escapes from the stresses of everyday living and are looking to try and restore balance in their life. Terranea’s natural setting serves as the ideal backdrop for a wellness retreat and the all-encompassing bungalow escapes provide everything one would need to help achieve this,” expressed Feeney. “Each stay is personalized, infused with heartfelt service from our associates, and guests can choose to be as active or as leisurely as they would like.”
Named one of the top five hotel spas in the continental United States in 2012 in Travel + Leisure’s 17th annual World’s Best Awards, the 50,000-square-foot spa offers a holistic approach to its treatments. Aside from its 25 rooms, the spa also features activities like oceanfront yoga and Pilates, an expansive fitness center, full-service salon, heated spa pool and hot tubs. Paired with the resort’s world-class accommodations and Pacific Ocean views, the new bungalows are a welcomed addition to the luxury hotel.
