Orange County is about to get considerably more glamorous! Chopard is re-opening their South Coast Plaza store next week after much anticipation, and we took a sneak peek at the space to share with JustLuxe readers.

Making a grand presence at the shopping mecca, the legendary jeweler to the stars has doubled its original retail space in one of the largest luxury shopping centers in the world. The undoubtedly impressive store features color and light in every corner and also houses custom-made furnishings created specifically for the prestigious brand. In a word? Stunning.

Chopard Co-President Caroline Scheufele elaborated on her vision in collaboration with architect Thierry Despont, "We worked very closely on the concept in order to keep the atmosphere of our boutiques warm and homey with luxurious and sensuous fabrics, welcoming wood floors, and often, a fireplace. When our clients enter a Chopard Boutique, I want them to feel as if they were entering a refined and gracious home."

And from the looks of things, the stately new store has accomplished just that. Chopard will celebrate with a grand VIP cocktail party with celebrity attendees next Tuesday evening, benefitting the Philharmonic Society of Orange County. Chopard is donating 20 percent of purchases to the organization the entire week of November 15-22, 2011.
