This winter, Priory Farm has two magical family festive events at Discovery Land, providing the ideal opportunity to create cherished memories with loved ones this holiday season.
Nestled in South Nutfield, just outside Redhill in Surrey,and just a 40-minute train journey from central London, Discovery Land offers a sensational backdrop for festive fun, including immersive theatrical experiences and enchanting tales at the Father Christmas Experience, to the new Winter trail sprinkled with stardust. Discovery Land is so much more than just a walk in the countryside; it’s an exciting wholesome outdoor adventure through ancient woodlands, meadows, and next to lakes, designed to spark the imagination of children and adults alike. With adventure play areas, treehouses, balance beams, and seasonal displays, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The Winter Trail

The Winter Trail is a magical journey that features twinkling lights and interactive adventures. Families are invited to join Conifer the reindeer and the Discovery Land guardians, Fern, Timber, and Pebble, for an enchanting expedition in the great outdoors.
It features 12 Secret Star advent-style doors, each revealing a unique experience that captures the magic of the season. Visitors will have the opporrtunity to ride a shooting star, catch a fallen star, and fully immerse themselves in festive wonder, surrounded by sensory play areas, climbing features and interactive puzzles. There are a number of key photo spots along the way, including the Giant Wreath Rainbow, Festive Giants Chair, and Father Christmas’ Sleigh.

The Father Christmas Experience
This festive season, Priory Farm offers an unforgettable Father Christmas Experience in a brand-new theatre space within Discovery Land, involving an immersive piece of theatre involving storytelling, song, and special effects that brings the magic of Christmas to life through a musical journey in a festive land of wonder.
Visitors are invited to work in concert with adorable characters Tinsel bottom the fairy, Mary Christmas, and Skyler the snow leopard to save Christmas. Father Christmas needs help from them and you to restore sparkle to the Christmas stars so that he can guide his sleigh on Christmas eve. After the show, families can enjoy a special moment with Father Christmas himself at the Festive Village Green, soaking in the festive atmosphere with toasted marshmallows. Wrap up warm, bring your festive spirit, and prepare for an unforgettable Christmas adventure!
