STK Steakhouse Strand, STK’s flagship, which is located inside the ME Hotel on London’s Strand, has embarked upon an exciting collaboration with 'TINA – The Tina Turner Musical,' inviting guests to a one-of-a-kind unforgettable dining experience that pays homage to the indomitable Queen of Rock. The partnership promises a pre-theatre dining experience that transcends the ordinary.
Renowned for its revolutionary Vibe Dining Experience, where music is central to the culinary journey, STK Steakhouse Strand offers a meticulously curated menu that echoes the pulsating rhythm of Tina's timeless hits, featuring her cherished tour food top choices.
I paid a visit one Wednesday evening in May with my friend Amanda. We perused the menu, which features dishes that pay tribute to Tina Turner’s favourite bites on tour. There was a tempting array of starters, including delights such as Crispy Calamari, Tuna Tacos and Lil’ Brgs. We both opted for the Tuna Tacos, which were mouthwateringly delicious, and featured sashimi-grade tuna. Following this, there are a variety of options for main course, from the classic STK Flat Iron Steak, synonymous with the restaurant, “Tina’s Cheeseburger”, in homage to the Queen of Rock ‘n Roll, and ravioli. I went for Tina’s Cheeseburger, which was sensational, and came with a generous portion of crisp, delicious skin-on fries, cooked to perfection. Amanda opted for the ravioli and declared it delicious. Guests can enjoy two courses for £28 each, but if they are looking for something sweet, guests may end their meal with the exquisite satisfaction of a sumptuous New York Cheesecake for dessert, bringing the price of the dinner to £34 per person. We both plumped for pudding, and thoroughly enjoyed the cheesecake. It wasn’t overly sweet or cloying, as cheesecakes can sometimes be, and was accompanied by a lovely scoop of refreshing sorbet.
There is also the option to elevate your meal with a champagne cocktail that pays tribute to Tina Turner and one of her favourite alcoholic drinks. £1 from the sale of every “What’s Champagne Got To Do With It?” cocktail is donated to the Women's Aid Charity, dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence. As Cordelia Lodge, Women’s Aid Fundraising Manager, says: ‘we are delighted that The One Group (STK Steakhouse) is supporting Women’s Aid. Their support will allow us to influence real change and continue to support survivors of domestic abuse each day through our vital work. As we commemorate our 50th birthday this year, we are asking everyone to play their part in ending domestic abuse, so we thank all the team at STK Steakhouse for partnering with Women’s Aid to support our lifesaving work.’
STK Strand and 'TINA – The Tina Turner Musical' deliver an experience in which culinary excellence meets musical prowess, and really is, simply 'The Best.'
