Sushisamba is set to make its European debut in June, located in the top three floors of the Heron Tower. The restaurant promises to deliver a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine, culture, music and striking design to the City of London.
Two outdoor terraces will flank the restaurant and offer unparalleled views of the cityscape. Award-winning architects CetraRuddy will design the restaurant’s 13,423-square-foot space, which will have direct access via two scenic elevators from a dedicated entrance on Bishopsgate. The space will offer two restaurants serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, and feature outdoor dining, a bar and lounge, and a premier event space.
Sushisamba’s menus showcase an inventive culmination of three cuisines. Guests will be treated to Brazilian Churrasco and Moqueca, Peruvian Anticuchos and Ceviches, and Japanese tempura and sushi. The open kitchen and fiery robata grill will offer brilliantly roasted and flavored meats, vegetables and fish amidst a sizzling display of culinary entertainment.
Sushisamba has an expansive list of freshly muddled signature cocktails, such as the Nina Fresa, Chu-Cumber and Caipirinha. The beverage menu also includes exotic spirits such as shochu and cachaça, plus traditional beverages including wines, beers and champagne. The restaurant is also proud to carry one of the largest premium sake selections in the world which promises the perfect choice for any dish.
Sushisamba is preparing to welcome guests 24/7, in hopes of keeping pace with a city that’s always on the move. "We are thrilled to join London’s dynamic culinary scene,” says Shimon Bokovza, managing partner of Sushisamba restaurants. "The energy of London and its international appeal is a natural fit for our expansion into the global arena, and we are so pleased to make Heron Tower our first European home.” For more information on this dynamic restaurant group visit Sushisamba.com.
