When the Park MGM took over the former Monte Carlo Hotel along the Las Vegas Strip last year, MGM decided to renovate, refresh and reimagine the property, while converting the top floors into the boutique NoMad Hotel. Designed by French architect Jacques Garcia, the interior lights are dimmed, and each of the 293 rooms and suites have 17th and 18th century European references, as well as a distinctive New York flair.
It's a glamorous, sexy and playful destination that is ideal for Lady Gaga fans to stay at during her residency in 2019 and 2020. Now through New Years Eve, Gaga is performing two distinctive shows at the Park MGM Theatre, just steps from NoMad Hotel. Her Enigma show has fans dressing up to impress the nine time Grammy Award, Golden Globe and Oscar winner. Her seductive JAZZ & PIANO show features songs from the Great American Songbook, and some of her classic hits. She returns in April and May of 2020 with both shows.
Next to the theater is Haus of Gaga Las Vegas displaying many of her iconic clothing, shoes, props, and wigs. Also inside is a retail store for Gaga fans to purchase shirts, hats, and tools for self expression.
Fans staying at the hotel appreciate the custom furnishings, eccletic art, and freestanding pedestal bathtubs near King or Queen sized beds with luxury Bellino linens. Plush robes and slippers hang inside the closet. The well stock mini-bar features a security safe and mini refrigerator.
The beautifully tiled bathroom features a double size walk in shower, plush towels and array of ARGAN bath amenities. Many rooms and suites have a separate tiled floor water closet with a pedestal sink.
Similar to the NoMad New York and NoMad Los Angeles, storytelling is the heart of the curated art by Paris-based design studio Be-poles. Many of MGM's $250 million dollar original art collection pieces can be discovered throughout the hotel and while dining at The NoMad Restaurant. Besides art, guests are also surrounded by over 20,000 books on shelves lined up to a soaring two-story ceiling. This a nod to the iconic Library of NoMad New York, and reminds guests of the 'Be Our Guest' scene from Beauty and the Beast. Similar to the unforgettable meal in the story, James Beard winning chef Daniel Humm and Will Guidara's team prepare American classics in a grand way with a touch of theatricality.
On Wednesdays at 10 a.m., guests can take a guide led art tour to learn more about NoMad's and Park MGM's exquistie collection.
NoMad Las Vegas offers it's own intimate high-limit casino with roulette, blackjack and baccarat under a Tiffany glass ceiling. The Casino Bar showcases expertly crafted cocktail from acclaimed bar director, Leo Robitschek.
Guests have access to the Park MGM fitness center complete with cardio machines and free weights. The outdoor heated pool was inspired by the Majorelle Gardens of Morocco. Daybeds, lounge chairs and umbrellas provide a relaxing atmosphere. The full service MGM Spa & Salon on the second floor includes a sauna, steam room, heated whirlpool and mosiac tiled warmed loungers. lt's an ideal spot to relax before dinner and a night of Lady Gaga.
