Visitors to Las Vegas will have a new restaurant to check out in between casino stops, pool parties and live shows. Partnering with ESquared Hospitality, Bally’s Las Vegas will open BLT Steak to guests in 2014. Based off the original 2004 restaurant in New York City, BLT Steak's Bally's location will offer the same level of award-winning menu options as its other twelve establishments.
Opened in 2004, BLT Steak’s first venture has become a renowned name among the world's steakhouses and has earned a reputation for its notable classic fare in a bistro-like setting. Its Vegas location will boast the only restaurant in the city to offer their signature popovers, a golden Gruyere-laced puff served warm at the beginning of each meal. Of course, its main stars will be their selection of steaks from USDA Prime and Certified Angus® to the 28 day dry-aged NY strip and the bone-in rib eye. Tuna tartare, Dover sole, chopped vegetable salad and peanut butter chocolate mousse (staples of the steakhouse), will also be available on the new menu.
Earning a spot on Wine Spectator’s 'Best of Award of Excellence' list, BLT Steak’s New York location set the bar for its Vegas location. Following its lead, the new steakhouse will feature more than 500 wines from the regions of Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piedmont, Tuscany, Riojo and many others. It will also be home to a number of signature and creative cocktails.
As a part of the resort’s transformation process, BLT Steak will expand upon the area once used for Bally’s Steakhouse. Expanding the original space to 9,300 square feet, the new facility will be twice the size of the current restaurant. Upon entering, guests will be welcomed by a curving bar and accompanying 50-seat lounge. Its main dining room, holding 184 seats, will be separated by small, intimate dining rooms that can host large parties or special events.
For even more privacy, the dining area will hold two separate rooms that can hold up to ten and 12 guests, respectively. Decorated by rich wood finishes and a back drop of warm neutral tones, the restaurant will serve as a place for fine dining in a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Accents of polished stainless steel, amber and tangerine highlight the room while a fireplace serves as the showpiece of the dining room.
BLT Steak will join Bally’s other exceptional dining options such as VÉRONIC Voices, Drai’s After Hours and Bally’s South Tower. The 44-acre resort features 2,814 guestrooms, including 244 suites, 11 restaurants, a thrilling casino, lavish spa, spacious pool and 11 restaurants. It is also home to Las Vegas’ longest-running show, Jubilee!
