“Man Vs. Food” star Adam Richman is gracing Las Vegas with his radiant presence as host of the first ever World Food Championship. The luxury food event will be open to the public and free of charge. Located at Bally’s Las Vegas, food champions from all over will be competing for portions of the $300,000 prize purse offered for the categories beneath the umbrella of American inspired cuisine. Barbeque, chili, burgers, and side dishes will all be perfected by celebrity chefs hoping to make some extra cash.
Though the championship show itself is open to the public, the final table will be held at Caesar’s Palace’s Food Coliseum for an arm and a leg. Tickets are running for $250, bought in advance, you decide whether a glorified barbeque is worth that price. There will also be a reception at Paris Las Vegas Pool, featuring celebrity chefs and world renowned mixologist Francesco Lafranconi. But at this event, you will not only be in the presence of greatness, but will also be helping the “Keep Memory Alive” charity.
Throughout the event, there will be food expos along with the competitions, for all of your foodie dreams to come true. Celebrity chef’s include Nadia from “Nadia G.’s Bitchin’ Kitchen” and “Chopped” star Marc Murphy, as well as a number of top chef competitors and food magazine editors. The entire event is set to take place the first of November through the fourth, a preparation of sorts for the upcoming Thanksgiving feasts that many Americans will be indulging in only weeks later.
