Hotel Review: Hotel on Rivington in Manhattan's Lower East Side

Hotel Review: I'd be hard pressed to find a snappy, stylish hotel that gives me a panoramic view of New York City without an exorbitant room rate. Fortunately, Hotel on Rivington, a chic hotel placed perfectly in Manhattan's Lower East Side, offers guests 360 degree views and peeks of the city from each of its glass paneled rooms.

From bedside to the bathroom, I delighted in watching a stunning city awake and glimmer into the night. It was hard to leave my little mod pod room, especially with its sophisticated modern touches such as the Italian mosaic Bisazza bathroom, private terrace, and Japanese style-soaking tub.

Once I forced myself outside my room, I then found it hard to leave the hotel. A ridiculously priced continental breakfast ($5!) at the always-abuzz LEVANTEast restaurant is a daily must.

I also had to make a stop at the newly opened Platinum Salon, nestled within the hotel, where a team of low-key hipster stylists trim and frost to their hearts' contents. I have my eyes peeled on my future visit for the CV Club, opening soon, and of course, inside Hotel on Rivington.
