It’s a pretty big honor to be one of only seven female chefs to be awarded three Michelin stars, especially if you were the first woman to achieve that status. Awarded her stars in 2007, Anne-Sophie Pic is known for her inventive French cuisine with classic English twists. Come late 2016, the grande dame of French gastronomy will debut her newest venture inside the currently unopened Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square.
The restaurant will give a nod to Parisian brasseries, but will be set inside a classically English dining room designed by Bruno Moinard of Paris-based architects 4BI. From the hotel, guests will enter into the bar before it opens up to the main dining room. The space will feature curved leather banquettes, woodwork and columns covered with beveled mirrors. Along with a private dining room, La Dame will also hold its own wine cellar. The hotel and restaurant will open at the end of the year, and La Dame de Pic will be the chef’s first eatery in the United Kingdom.
