With so much rich history in entertainment, cuisine and art, Paris is considered to be one of the most romantic places in the world. Tourists fill the capital every year to stroll through the labyrinth of cobbled narrow streets and enjoy a cup of coffee at a charming cafe. From the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century Notre Dame de Paris to the Louvre and Tuileries Garden, Paris is a dream for millions of people. With beautiful aristocratic architecture and a great location in the historic heart of the city, we think Castille Paris is definitely one hotel you'll want to spend your luxury vacation in. Set between Place de la Concorde and Place Vendôme, Castille Paris is just a short walk from the Louvre and Opera Garnier, and is in the center of the haute couture fashion district where iconic fashion designers made history. Sitting on Rue Cambon and neighbors with Coco Chanel's original Atelier and flagship store, the hotel is around the corner from Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and Rue Saint Honoré, which are known all around the world for their luxury designer boutiques. With fine jewelers and shopping opportunities scattered everywhere, guests will find themselves in a fashion paradise.
Part of Starhotels Collezione, the hotel was bought in 2005 and recently saw the end of an extensive $25.5 million dollar renovation. With just 108 rooms and suites, the interior of this boutique hotel was designed by Andrea Auletta and Ms. Elisabetta Fabri, the owner, President and CEO of Starhotels International. They wanted to create a classic contemporary style so they used subtle colors, like black and creams, paired with delicate furnishings, antique mirrors, oak wood, and marble.
The rooms are divided into two wings, each with a different style and influence: the Rivoli Wing and the Opéra Wing. The Rivoli Wing has a 1930s feel with Robert Doisneau prints throughout and is meant to pay tribute to the Coco style. The Opéra Wing brings forth a warm Italian classicism with simple, clean lines. Ranging from Superior Rooms to Suite Duplex's, all rooms come with various amenities like a Starbed mattress and 24-hour room service. Higher luxury amenities, like an espresso coffee machine and butler service, only come with certain rooms, like the Suite Duplex.
Guests will be expecting fine cuisine and Castille strives to bring just that. L'Assaggio is an authentic Italian restaurant that offers a full American breakfast each morning, as well as a wide array of drinks. During the Spring and Summer seasons, the restaurant opens their Florentine patio doors so guests can enjoy the warmth and view of the Roman fountain outside. The L'Assaggio Bar boasts a chic atmosphere perfect for relaxing chats amongst friends. With the ability to grab a light meal, a sandwich perhaps, the Bar houses nearly any type of tea you could ever want, from smoky Lapsang Souchong to Darjeeling Vert Arya.
Rates start at $225 a night for a Superior Room and $956.25 a night for one of the Suites.
