The Diamond Ball is an elegant evening full of food, cocktails and wagging tails. The annual gala supports the Wounded Veterans Initiative of Canine Companions for Independence, which provides highly-trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities. The evening includes a live and silent auction, four-course dinner, music and dancing, as well as The Diamond Drop where the the organization will be collecting gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, watches and coins to be donated to the cause. In 2013, The Diamond Ball raised $90,000 for Friends of Orange County’s Homeless Pets and the Wounded Veterans Initiative of Canine Companions for Independence.
