The U.S. Open Tennis Championships is a modern version of one of the oldest tennis championships in the world and has been played in New York since the late '70s. The main tournament consists of five championships including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. Additional tournaments for senior, junior, and wheelchair players are also held throughout the two week event. The world's best players, including modern-greats Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and the Williams sisters have made multiple championship appearances. The Billie Jean King facility is provides a luxurious way to watch the matches and is also equipped with multiple fine-dining restaurants for the ultimate experience.
