Filmfest DC presents an eclectic mix of more than 100 new features, documentaries and short films from around the world in venues across D.C. The well-established festival also includes special opening and closing night events and discussions with directors. The festival has become a prominent showcase for filmmakers to show their works to the knowledgeable and enthusiastic audience and has also become one of Washington's signature cultural events.

Filmfest DC is an 11-day annual festival presenting more than 100 premieres, restored classics and special events to the general public. Since its inception, the festival has introduced over 1000 feature and short films to an ever-growing audience.
