Lookingglass Theatre Company

Lookingglass Theatre Company was founded back in 1988 by a group of graduate students from Northwestern University (including the famous Friend David Schwimmer), borrowing the name from the much loved Lewis Carroll novel Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There.

In fitting with Carroll's love for the bizarre and whimsical, Lookingglass Theatre Company tends to put on productions that pretty spectacular in nature, like Mary Zimmerman's Tony Award-winning Metamorphoses.
