The 22-story LondonHouse Chicago may not open until spring 2016, but we're already excited to visit. With 425 rooms, the luxury hotel has a bevy of cool features, like its two ballrooms that collectively hold 800 guests, four different event venues, two restaurants, private dining rooms, a rooftop bar and two ground floors of retail spaces.
The hotel's décor stays in line with the building's original 1920s roots, with a clean color palette made up of greys and whites, while modern furniture adds a contemporary touch. Every room either affords guests views of the Chicago River or Michigan Avenue and the rooftop space promises to be the hotel's biggest draw. With a bar and lounge, the roof has its own elevator and two levels of terraces, including one with a historic cupola dome that is sure to become a major Chicago wedding spot.
Rates will range from around $699 a night for a standard room to $819 a night for a suite.
