Developed by The John Buck Company, Partners Group and Becker Ventures, Chicago’s newest luxury apartment project MILA was named after its street location on the corners of Michigan and Lake. However, it seems just as likely that the developers named it after the likes of Milla Jovovich and Mila Kunis, since it's certainly stylish enough. Once finished in mid-August 2016, there will be 402 Class-A apartments with 12 different floor plans to choose from.
With 24/7 door staff and room service, an on-site concierge, valet parking and a pet salon, MILA promises to provide residents with a hotel-like lifestyle that offers all they could ever want. There’s a gym and yoga studio for fitness buffs, Atelier Studio, a game room with a tech bar, a social lounge and a study.
It may be in the middle of the Windy City, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to relax in the grass on the outdoor terrace. The Urban Garden and deck will make for the perfect place to BBQ, play bocce ball, watch some outdoor movies or chat around a fire pit. On the 41st floor, there will be a scenic rooftop pool and sundeck that offers 360-degree views of the city.
The homes feature gourmet kitchens, floor-to-ceiling windows, balconies (in corner units), and a full tech package that includes keyless entry. Though prices haven’t been released just yet, it seems like there will be studios, one and two bedroom units, and convertible residences available.
Having broken ground last year, prospective residents can expect pre-leasing and availability to start in Spring 2016, with a May move-in date.
