Thompson Hotels will start taking reservations as the new Chicago location on October 1, making this Thompson's 11th property to date. The international brand will begin their first phase of the opening during the fall and will continue rolling out new developments through end of the year. The 247-room Thompson Chicago boasts unobstructed views of Lake Michigan and a number of modern conveniences for a home-away-from home experience.
Of their seven room choices, three will be suite options including six two-level penthouses. In the 320-square-foot King Superior room, custom-made 400 thread count SFERRA linens dress the bed. Designing the space, award-winning British designer Tara Bernerd teamed up with Chicago’s local talent to bring the brand’s envisioned hotel to life. Her signature style is present in the guest rooms, public spaces and restaurant which is marked by bold colors and strong textures.

One Off Hospitality Group will open NICO at the hotel which will serve Italian cuisine focused on fresh pastas made daily. Housed in a rustic yet elegant setting, the menu will feature the finest seasonal seafood and craft dishes inspired by Italian traditions.
