Just because the Super Bowl is in New Orleans this year, doesn’t mean the rest of the country isn’t having any fun (though, you must admit, the Super Bowl in the Crescent City is gonna be one heck of a party). Horseshoe Casino's Sixth Street is the casino’s newest tavern, specializing in craft beer and signature local brews. The Horseshoe Casino debuted the new venue in November, allowing just enough time for Sixth Street, which according to the casino is named after the Fifth Street card in Texas Hold ‘em, to get itself stream-lined for one of the most beer-consuming holidays of the year— the Super Bowl.
From wheat and Belgiums to IPAs and organic blends, the beer gurus at Sixth Street are pouring a variety of fantastic beverages. Grab a pint of the Goose Island-Matilda Belgian Ale, boasting a fruity and spicy flavor that may even get dedicated wine-lovers to convert to beer on a night or two; or try the Summit Winter Ale with hints of roasted malt flavor, coffee, caramel, and cocoa. The Horseshoe Casino is turning “The Venue” into Chicago’s largest sports bar, complete with 60 foot, screen TV’s and out-of-control giveaways. So, don’t worry if you won’t be sitting in the stadium this year. Order a mug of New Holland Dragon’s Milk and sit back and enjoy the game.

Seats will be available on a first-come-first served basis, which are free, however the evening will also include two package options as well. For $15 guests can indulge in an “All-You-Can-Eat” Super Bowl buffet with guaranteed seating on the Venue floor and Mezzanine level; or for $75 access will be granted to the buffet as well as an open bar. In the midst of all the gloriousness that is football—beer, wings, and quirky superstitious rituals—don’t forget to enter into Horseshoe Casino's $5,000 Big Game Super Square Contest. The fun starts at 3:30 pm, the game at 5:20 pm.
