With the holiday season upon us many people are travelling, hosting family members, and getting ready for 25th. If the in-laws are in town or you happen to have a music lover in your household, then The Venue at Horseshoe Casino may be the place for holiday entertainment this year. The Venue has a stellar line-up through December and into January, including performances from Kenny G. (what’s Christmas without at least one run-through of Kenny G. The Classic Christmas Album?), Boyz II Men, Aretha Franklin and more.
The Venue is located in the Horseshoe Casino, just twenty minutes from downtown Chicago, with over 350,000 square feet of casino space, 3,000 slot machines, and more than 100 table games. Horseshoe Casino also features the largest poker room in the Midwest and several dining concepts, including Jack Binion’s Steak House and Village Square Buffet. In addition, The Venue is one the city’s most premier entertainment destinations, drawing some the industry’s most successful musicians, comedians, and performers. So if you’re unsure of what to do with your visitors, an evening at Horseshoe Casino for games and some live entertainment may be a nice way to fit in some holiday fun.
On December 20th, The Venue’s doors open at 7 to kick-start some Christmas spirit with the Kenny G. 2012 Holiday Show. Tickets range from $47 to $130. Everybody’s favorite reality DJ, Pauly D will be visiting on December 22nd. VIP tickets include beer and wine, with the show kicking off at 11 pm. Tickets to fist-pump along with DJ Pauly D will cost between $15 and $65 dollars. At 8 pm on December 27th, Boyz II Men and Mint Condition will ignite some December romance. Tickets will cost between $65 and $75. And finally, to round-out the December line-up, "Queen of Soul" and American Pop Diva, Aretha Franklin will light up the stage on December 29 at 8 pm (Tickets $45-$155) while American Idol winner, Taylor Hicks will help ring in the New Year with a December 31st show at 8:15 pm.
In addition to the roster of events, The Venue will also be launching their After Hour events, starting with Pauly D on Saturday December 22nd.
