The Mint Museum has become an internationally-renowned institution in North Carolina because of its dedication to conserving, collecting, inspiring, exhibiting, publishing and protecting important global works of art and design. Designed by Machado and Silvetti Associates of Boston, the 145,000-square-foot five-story facility houses outstanding collections of American, contemporary, and European art. With another location in Charlotte's historic Eastover neighborhood, both museums encourage the understanding of diverse peoples and cultures as well as their impact and influence all people.
