With a speakeasy featuring live entertainment, cigar lounge on the horizon, on-site taproom, a bustling restaurant serving elevated fare, a dedicated entertainment area for kids (and adults), and even an outdoor pawtio for four-legged friends, this South Shore restaurant has taken dining out to a new level.
G Pub Plymouth is transforming the way diners think about going out to dinner.
The popular restaurant has its own taproom located at the rear of the restaurant. High Limb Cider Taproom serves up flights of ciders in fun flavors like Blueberry Crumble and Honey Pot that you can enjoy on premises or take a four-pack to go to enjoy at home.
When it comes to dining, Culinary Director Gary Hatfield has put together an inventive gastropub-style menu with creative dishes you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else.
Instead of traditional style potato skins, Hatfield’s upcoming menu will feature French onion soup filled skins. Another highlight to look forward to will be the beef Wellington tacos served in a flaky puff pastry.
What makes the venue so fun is you can enjoy some appetizers and a few craft ciders and then go play some arcade games, a round of pool, some shuffleboard, pinball, or cornhole before heading back to your table for dinner.
Servers present diners with the day’s specialties that may include everything from a triple-decker turkey club to mussels fettucine.
One of their signature starters that should not be missed is the chicken parm pizza. Designed for sharing, this is not your familiar staple. Made with ground chicken that is breaded and fried into a tasty “crust,” it is then topped with a tangy house made marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil.
Another new addition coming to the menu soon is the tasty lamb burger, a delicious combination of half ground lamb and half ground beef complemented by house tzatziki sauce and topped with fresh cucumber, tomato, mint, feta, and pickled onions.“It’s all about building layers of flavors,” Hatfield told us.
G Pub will also be launching a gluten-free menu here shortly.
Don’t miss one of their creative cocktails like the Butterfinger Espressotini even better when enjoyed as an after-dinner drink.
G Pub Plymouth seems like it was especially designed for game-day watching. The bustling restaurant has more than 30 high-definition TVs for guests looking to check out their favorite sports teams.
Be sure to keep an eye out for G Pub’s weekly lineup of live entertainment that features everything from local bands to talented performers.
This is the second G Pub under the G Hospitality brand. The first location can be found in downtown Providence at 61 Orange Street.
G Pub Plymouth is located at 101A Carver Road in Plymouth, Mass.
