Owner and award-winning stylist Anthony Vitale has been cutting hair for the past 20 years in town. When he went to college and majored in paint, he probably could have never guessed that his career would have brought him where he is today. Now, he owns this salon located north of the city in Burlington and is the former owner of Studio for Hair in Kenmore Square. The modern North Shore salon is located just minutes from the popular Burlington Mall and a short drive from Vitale's home where he lives with his wife and two children.
I visited the salon recently for a cut and Framesi color with Vitale. He miraculously turned the reddish tints that were currently in my hair into a natural looking beautiful medium brown after just a couple hours. "I am always looking ahead to see what a particular style will look like down the line," he said. "It saves steps and makes the customer happy when they get a great color that they love."
The salon does everything from traditional cuts and blow drys to highlights, glosses and hair extensions. They even have their own line of shampoo and conditioner as well.
