Taipei ZooMeet the local Taiwanese animals, like the flying fox, Asiatic
Black Bear and the Chinese Pangolin, at the Taipei Zoo. All these
species, and hundreds of others, are happily housed in the zoo,
which provides a fun day out for visitors of all ages. Arranged in
themed habitat sections, such as tropical rainforest, desert and
even African savannah, the zoo, founded in 1914, covers 165
hectares and includes an extensive indoor area with a popular
foodcourt. The Taipeir Zoo is the largest zoo in Asia, and
travellers should budget at least three of four hours to take it
