Atlantic City Boardwalk

The Boardwalk at Atlantic City has a long history to match its lengthy coverage of the shoreline. Originally installed by a few enterprising hotel owners hoping to keep sand out of their lobbies, it now connects Atlantic City to a neighboring town seven miles away.

The Boardwalk is full of shops for beach necessities and souvenirs, restaurants and food stands, and of course the towering casinos that were legalized during the 70s.
