Jul 5, 2012 | Contributor: James RothaarThe Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts and the Riviera Tower LLC have signed a management contract for a new luxury hotel in Russia. The Swissôtel Riviera Tower Kazan, which is scheduled to open in 2016, will reinforce the hotel group’s position in the Eastern European market. The Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy, in Moscow, has garnered an excellent reputation since opening its doors. Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, is located approximately 500 miles east of Moscow. The new, deluxe hotel will have 211 guestrooms and suites, a Pürovel Spa & Sport complex, numerous indoor and outdoor sports facilities, various restaurants, a ballroom, and several smaller conference rooms.
