Stonehaven Manor is our pick of the month for a luxurious golfing residence in the southeast region of the U.S. This two-story English manor-styled house is so lavish that it is deserving of its own name.

The seven-bedroom mansion is located at the Country Club of the South in Johns Creek, Georgia. It is part of the 900-acre private golfing community, located just 10 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia that contains more than 700 deluxe single-family residences. Stonehaven Manor is on the market at $5.6 million. The price was just lowered $1.6 million, as it was previously priced at $7.2 million. 

It is tucked away on a private 1.5-acre enclave near the 17th green on the Jack Nicklaus-designed, 18-hole championship course on the grounds. There is a gated entrance with a private driveway that leads to a circular courtyard with a fountain, a covered driveway, a four-car garage, and a full guesthouse atop the garage. The fully landscaped outdoor entertaining area includes a pool, a gas grill, a patio, and a cabana with a full bar, a bathroom, and a changing room.

The Country Club of the South has a full scope of amenities as well as a huge clubhouse/community center for resident members. The sprawling mixed-use complex is the hub of the development.
