CES may be full of cool gadgets, but the massive technology trade show isn't just for home-based electronics, there is a lot of car tech too. In fact, today McLaren Automotive and Japanese electronics brand JVCKenwood unveiled their super cool McLaren 675LT JVCKenwood Concept, which was designed exclusively for the Las Vegas show.

Based on the new McLaren 675LT Coupe, which was limited to 500 units and sold out in months, the one-off prototype has a lot more tech than its predecessor does. The concept model boasts a head-up display that sends information straight to the driver and most notably, a steering wheel that looks more like a video game controller. "The steering wheel is borrowed from McLaren’s most exclusive model, the track-devoted McLaren P1™ GTR, with the IPAS and DRS buttons replaced by positioning controls for the Head-Up Display (HUD) with fighter plane inspired graphics." The two companies also took out all of the car's mirrors and brought in digital cameras, with the end result being totally streamlined from end-to-end.

McLaren hasn't released any plans on actually selling this concept, but you can bet the price tag would be sky-high if they ever did.
