Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled its new Spotlight Voyage with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team which is scheduled to disembark from Barcelona next summer in July, 2025. The superstar host on board will be none other than Pedro de la Rosa, an accomplished veteran of more than 100 Grand Prix races. The rare occasion is just the ticket for F1 fans to travel in ultra luxury while enjoying a new side to high-performance racing.
The special 10-night Mediterranean sailing on the Seven Seas Splendor will include such thrilling highlights as an onboard Aston Martin driving stimulator for guests to put their racing skills to the test; master classes and workshops conducted by the Aston Martin Formula One® Team; meet-and-greet opportunities and Q&As with former F1 driver Pedro de la Rosa; and pre- and post- cruise opportunities in Europe for motor-racing-themed land excursions such as visiting famous racetracks, viewing private car collections, and a chance to attend an Aston Martin Aramco Race Weekend Experience in Hungary following the Spotlight voyage.
In addition to de la Rosa, Aston Martin Aramco engineers and executives will also be on board, as well as key representatives from Aston Martin, the ultra-luxury road car brand, will also participate in the exclusive voyage through a series of workshops around innovation and design. Also on board, the experience will be complete with special “Race Day” themed dishes, cocktails, deck parties, documentary airings, gifts, co-branded merchandise including hats, polo shirts, jackets and reusable water bottles, plus special Culinary Arts Kitchen classes.
The cruise will visit destinations steeped in the rich history and tradition of motor racing such as Barcelona, Spain and Monte Carlo, where bespoke tours are being curated. Highlights will surely be a walking tour of the iconic Monaco Circuit, VIP access to view Prince Rainer's personal car collection and a panoramic helicopter flight — the quintessential race day arrival departure experience.
