The Orient Express in Venice, The Golden Eagle in Russia, and now a luxury train right here in the U.S. The Rocky Mountaineer has just started lavish rides aptly named “Rockies to the Red Rocks” that start in Denver, Colorado and travel through beautiful mountains and canyon until it reaches Moab, Utah. The route, which starts in Denver, makes an overnight stop in Glenwood Springs, Colorado then continues to Moab, Utah. There is also a return route from Moab to Denver.
The journey features incredible landscapes through canyons and rocky walls beside the beautiful Colorado River between Denver and Glenwood Springs. From Glenwood Springs it travels through mountain vistas, desert cliffs and stunning rock formations on the way to Moab, Utah. There is also a return route from Moab to Denver.
