Airline Carts Get a Second Chance at Life As Gorgeous Handmade Wine Trolleys

We've all seen those rectangular airplane trolley carts full of drinks and snacks, but we've certainly never seen any as cool as this wine-specific one from Skypak. Called La Barrique Edition, the design is made using old oak barrels that were once used to age wine in. The German company brings in original trolleys that were once in use on an aircraft and then attaches the wood by hand, which according to Skypak still carries the scent of red wine. Inside the stainless steel cart there is shelving for at least six bottles and brackets to hang several wine glasses. If wine isn't your style though, Skypak also makes a whiskey version, using barrels that still smell of the strong spirit.
