With its awesome Art Deco-inspired design, the Vintage Nixie Tube Clock from Nuvitron is definitely being placed at the top of our holiday wish list. Though science geeks already know what a nixie tube is, for the rest of us, it’s an electronic device with a glowing discharge that’s used to display numbers. This particular design is handmade with 30-year-old unused Nixie tubes that were found in abandoned Eastern European basements. Each clock takes around 30 hours to make and since the tubes used are no longer in production, they arrive with authenticity certificates. If you want one for yourself, you better act fast because according to the company, there are only nine left in stock.
