Though the Pinetti Wine Rack from Harlequin Illusions may appear normal, first impressions can be very deceiving. If you take a second look, you’ll notice that wine bottles appear to vanish as they pass through the center of the design, only to pop out of the back as if everything is normal. The rack, which is made from red oak that has been hand-finished with Danish oil, is able to hold 12 bottles—including six hidden ones. The company makes no mention of how this trick-of-the-mind has been accomplished (mirrors?), but considering founder Tony Potter used to be a stage illusion designer, we aren’t surprised he’s keeping quiet.
