Etihad Airways have really hit the mark with their $43,000 Residence suite since the first 10 Airbus A380 flights have already sold out, according to the National Post. The luxury three-room cabin comes with its own butler (trained at The Savoy hotel's Butler Academy), a double bed, living area, and a shower cubicle—like we said back in May, it really is like an apartment in the sky.
Bookings are apparently already way ahead the usual 50 percent reservation rate for tickets of its kind, proving that there is certainly a market for $40K (it's around $20K for one way) flights. The first flight takes off December 27 and flies between the carrier's Abu Dhabi base and London.
