Private-aviation firm Flight Options, LLC, reports that it has reached the 100-member milestone in its Jet Membership Club program within a year of its launch. The company also announced the addition of a Nextant 400XT business jet to its program, which already includes the Embraer Phenom 300, giving members of the club more to choose from.

“The Jet Membership Club’s rapid growth in a very short period of time, and our clients’ positive reception to the program’s flexibility and value, has prompted us to expand the offering beyond the Phenom 300 to another equally revolutionary aircraft, the Nextant 400XT,” said Michael J. Silvestro, CEO of Flight Options.
Silvestro added, “We set our sights on becoming the world’s largest Phenom 300 operator, which is exactly what we are today. Like the Phenom 300, the 400XT offers our members one of the industry’s most capable and efficient aircraft, resulting in an unrivaled value proposition. In a very short period, the 400XT has become an important differentiator for us.”

The success of the Jet Membership Club’s contributed significantly to Flight Options’ operating income in 2012. Sales increased by more than 30 percent compared to last year’s reported sales. The firm has more than 100 aircraft in its fleet, making it the second largest private-aviation company worldwide with more than 1,300 owners and clients.
“The Jet Membership Club is the perfect solution for our needs,” said Jerry and Kathy Mohr, who are existing members of the Jet Membership Club. “The program is the only one that offers us access to the Phenom 300, an aircraft that meets our short and longer-range flights, for a three-year period, without having to own one outright or purchase an actual ownership share in the plane. The Jet Membership Club not only makes sense financially but also provides us with flexibility, predictability and simplicity. It’s the perfect mix of programs for our needs.”
