Herschel Supply Gets Technical with ApexKnit BHW Collection

Photos & Video Credit: Herschel Supply

The innovative knit wits at Herschel Supply have created their first technical knit material to update its exclusive BHW Collection for Fall 2016. Called ApexKnit, it’s the global accessory brand’s first trademarked fabric technology, engineered for everyday use.

Herschel Supply

Technical knitting is an advanced capability which allows textile components to be knitted in a single piece, with no cutting or sewing needed. Herschel’s ApexKnit is composed of densely-woven 600D high-tensile yarn, providing a slight stretch while still maintaining its intended form. By calculating yarn density and pull strength, concise structured silhouettes are created with a distinctive spectral aesthetic and minimal construction seams.

The collection features three streamlined silhouettes: ApexKnit renditions of two newly-designed Dayton and contoured Lawson backpacks, and the Network pouch. Premium Icon zippers, forged rubber accents and understated Herschel Supply branding finishes each BHW piece. Each of the three pieces is offered in three colors: Black, Grey and Orange Multi. The collection ranges from $50-$200 and will be available online and in limited quantities at select retailers including Barneys New York, Roden Gray, 290 Square Meters and Selfridges.
