Growing up there’s probably no one you idolized quite like Han Solo. The roguish scoundrel was definitely the badass of the Star Wars universe—and he was one snappy dresser. Now fans and collectors alike have an opportunity to get their hands on Solo’s iconic leather jacket. Worn in the latest film of the franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and signed by Harrison Ford, the brown jacket will be offered up for auction on If Only. Currently the bidding price is $34,000, but the auction goes through April 11, so chances are the price will skyrocket over the next two weeks.
The actor is donating the jacket in an effort to raise money for the NYU Langone Medical Center and FACES (Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures). His 25-year-old daughter Georgia has suffered from the disease for years, and only found help recently through the doctors at NYU. “I’ve been very impressed with the work NYU and the FACES team have done in the field of epilepsy research, and I hope this jacket will provide some means to further that exploration,” Ford said in a press release. “This is a cause that’s near and dear to me, and unlike the cynical Han Solo, I’ve got a good feeling about this.”
